We are working with a Nursing Home located in Kings County, NY that is currently looking for Nurse Supervisor to join their team (7-3p)!
The Nurse Supervisor reports directly to the DON. The overall responsibilities will include; handling all duties for the unit, establishing employee policies and procedures, mentoring less experienced nurses, offering clinical and career advice, maintaining the standards of care for the unit, reviewing resident records and quality of care, monitoring overall care & review individual residents’ cases, and address questions or complaints brought forward by Residents or their families, represent the unit’s interests with the upper level management.
Candidates must be NY licensed RN, with experience in Long Term Care
Candidates must have excellent management skills, clinical knowledge, and expertise, be familiar with staffing, and wound care and PRI’s. Candidates must also have basic computer skills, be strong leaders, have the ability to work well with others and know how to treat employees and patients fairly and respectfully.
The salary for this position is in the $50/hr range depending on experience.
