Alya Shor, nursing student

Alya Shor is a nursing student at Hunter-Bellevue School of Nursing, and currently serves as Director of Strategic Initiatives and Innovation on the Orthodox Jewish Nurses Association. She is a former combat soldier in the Israel Defense Forces, and a current first responder with Magen David Adom, Israel’s national emergency medical and disaster response service. She serves on the Youth Leadership Committee at Save a Child’s Heart, an Israeli organization providing life-saving cardiac care to children worldwide. Alya is passionate about bridging Jewish identity, global healthcare, and nurse-led advocacy.
